Technical Properties
The PU double lip wiper seal is designed to prevent dust, dirt and other foreign particles from entering hydraulic cylinders through the rod side. The Kastaş K09 profile uses a cut lip design for effective wiping performance and a stepped outer diameter that helps maintain the required contact force during operation.
Manufactured in polyurethane, the PU double lip wiper seal is suited to applications where the cylinder rod is exposed to demanding operating conditions. The PU version uses Kastaş material code PU9201 and is specified for temperatures from -40°C to +100°C, with a maximum sliding speed of 1.0 m/s.
The K09 profile provides good wiping performance while using a simple groove design. Its design also helps prevent twisting inside the housing, supporting reliable installation and operation. The polyurethane material provides good tear and rupture resistance for demanding applications.
