EPDM O Rings
EPDM o-rings, or ethylene propylene o-rings, are a family of synthetic elastomers with lower cost steam and chemical resistance, particularly for applications involving solvents, acids and other mild chemicals. EPDM stands for Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer, which is a type of synthetic rubber made from the chemicals stated in its name. EPDM o-rings, gaskets, and seals are commonly used in automotive manufacturing, medical devices, household appliances, water and wastewater systems, and other challenging applications. In other forms, EPDM rubber is used for everything from garden hose to roofing membranes to speaker components.
